Dressed for a party

Between work, hospitality, community and individual prayers, and service to the larger community, the sisters have full schedules. But, there's always time for a party. Here, they're off to celebrate friends' 50th anniversary. Pictured left to right, Sr. Eileen, Postulant Mary, Sr. Judy, and Sr. Jan.

Dear Stacey:

You and your friends are going to
enjoy this story.

This year Alec is studying Latin.
Betsy called me and said that he had to learn the Pater Noster that
night. When I hung up, I thought of the eight years that I had studied Gregorian chant. (Instead
of Sister Clare Marguerite, we
called our teacher "dotted punctum")! Anyhow later I chanted the Our Father in Latin very slowly, clearly enunciating each
word on their answering machine.

As fate had it, Steven
was the first to arrive home that
day, and when he picked up the phone messages (knowing nothing of
the backround), he told Betsy that
"Your mother has flipped her lid".

Alec listened to that tape 5 times,
so it worked out!!!

When do you get home?

Love,
Mom
